For an ad series featuring Drizzilicious mini rice cakes, I conceptualized "BIG flavor", alluding to the fact that the rice cakes are small in stature but large in taste. I then sourced props, finding the perfect cake, and making smores and cinnamon rolls to look how I wanted. I set up a home photo studio with lighting and backdrop and bounces. After that I shot the food, which was an interesting experience as the props were small, the rice cakes being about an inch around. I used the photos I took and laid out the ad series, using primary colors for the backgrounds and approachable fonts to appeal to a wide audience. The goal was to create a food magazine-worthy result, showcasing my skills in photoshoots, typography, and layout.
